Sioux-Monti is more than a venue—it's a love story. It all began when Ward "Bud" Johnson, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, met Betty, an army nurse from Monticello, Indiana, during World War II. After returning to the states, they built their life together on this very land, naming it Sioux-Monti in honor of their roots.
Now, generations later, we're honored to share this special place with couples like you. Our historic white barn, once filled with the rhythms of farm life, has been lovingly restored to host intimate wedding weekends. Here, love stories continue to unfold—just like ours did. It's a place where history and romance meet, and where your own journey can begin.
